Classes/Programs
At Balance Physiotherapy, we offer small group classes designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. Our classes cater to all fitness levels and provide a supportive, engaging environment where you can work towards your fitness goals with the guidance of our experienced instructors.
Our programs include Pilates, core conditioning, injury prevention, and more. Whether you’re preparing for ski season or simply looking to improve your overall fitness, our classes are designed to help you reach your full potential in a fun and supportive group setting. Plus, you’ll save when you commit to six sessions.
Mat Pilates and Core Conditioning
Instructed by Cassandra Angus, Kinesiologist
When: Saturdays at 9:00 am
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 50 minutes
Cost: $45 drop-in ($35 if you commit to six sessions)
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for strengthening the pelvic floor and improving posture. It focuses on core stability, promoting postural alignment, and enhancing flexibility and balance. You’ll also work on breathing techniques to improve overall body awareness. These exercises are also easy to perform at home with minimal equipment.
Note: Not suitable for pregnant women or those with specific spinal conditions.
Uptraining Balance Program
Instructed by Jeff Spindor, Physiotherapist
When: Tuesdays @ 2pm, 24th March – 28th April
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 45 minutes
Cost: $240 for six classes (receipt provided to submit to your extended medical benefits)
More than just preventing falls, this 6-week program is designed to up-train your balance, proprioception, and strength to increase your agility for all of your activities.

Fit To Ski

When: Tuesdays at 6pm, Until March 17
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 60 minutes
Cost: $55 drop-in ($45 per session if you commit to the program)
Prepare for the slopes with our popular Fit to Ski program, hosted by Jeff Spindor, Physiotherapist. Fit to Ski is a dynamic functional strength, balance, and agility training program to help you ski confidently and safely. You’ll engage in exercises that target both upper and lower body strength, as well as balance and coordination, to ensure you’re physically prepared for the challenges of skiing. With space limited to six participants, this intimate class provides personalized attention to maximize your results.
