At Balance Physiotherapy, we offer small group classes designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. Our classes cater to all fitness levels and provide a supportive, engaging environment where you can work towards your fitness goals with the guidance of our experienced instructors.
Our programs include Pilates, core conditioning, injury prevention, and more. Whether you’re preparing for ski season or simply looking to improve your overall fitness, our classes are designed to help you reach your full potential in a fun and supportive group setting. Plus, you’ll save when you commit to eight sessions.
Mat Pilates and Core Conditioning
Instructed by Cassandra Angus, Kinesiologist
When: Tuesdays at noon and Saturdays at 8:30 am
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 50 minutes
Cost: $45 drop-in ($35 if you commit to eight sessions)
This beginner-friendly class is perfect for strengthening the pelvic floor and improving posture. It focuses on core stability, promoting postural alignment, and enhancing flexibility and balance. You’ll also work on breathing techniques to improve overall body awareness. These exercises are also easy to perform at home with minimal equipment.
Note: Not suitable for pregnant women or those with specific spinal conditions.
Uptraining Balance Program
Instructed by Jeff Spindor, Physiotherapist
When: Saturdays at 10:30 am, October 4 – November 8
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 45 minutes
Cost: $240 for six classes (receipt provided to submit to your extended medical benefits)
More than just preventing falls, this 6-week program is designed to up-train your balance, proprioception, and strength to increase your agility for all of your activities.
Full Body Conditioning Class
Instructed by Cassandra Angus, Kinesiologist
When: Fridays at 6pm
Where: Balance Physio
Class Length: 50 min
Cost: $40 per class ($30 if you commit to 6 classes as a package)
Perfect for all fitness levels, this dynamic class combines strength training, bodyweight exercises, and functional movements to maximize calorie burn and improve overall fitness.
Stay Fit to Ski (Returning mid Oct 2025)
Instructed by a Kinesiologist
When: Wednesdays at 6:15 pm and Sunday OR Sunday TBD
Where: Balance Physiotherapy
Class Length: 60 minutes
Cost: $50 drop-in ($40 if you commit to at least eight sessions)
Get ready for ski season with this dynamic conditioning program. Focused on functional strength, balance, and agility, this class is designed to help you ski confidently and safely. You’ll engage in exercises that target both upper and lower body strength, as well as balance and coordination, to ensure you’re physically prepared for the slopes. With space limited to just six participants, this intimate class provides personalized attention to maximize your results.
